Why this page exists

You want growth. Not vanity metrics.

Every business owner wants to grow their business. Tired of paying for print ads but having no idea if they actually worked? Tired of marketing agencies promising the world and delivering nothing? You're not alone. The majority of South African business owners are still using outdated marketing methods and wishing for the best.

We do the opposite. Every campaign we run is built around one number: cost per closed deal. Impressions, likes, and views are vanity metrics. We chase qualified leads and paying customers.

Where your buyers actually are

The biggest audiences in South Africa.

Forget the print run with declining readership. South Africa is online. Late-2025 DataReportal figures put the audience in front of you:

That is more reach, more targeting precision, and more dwell time than any newspaper or radio station can offer. The opportunity is enormous. Most South African advertisers are still doing it wrong.

A common doubt

Are Meta ads even effective? Yes, when run right.

When Facebook ads launched in 2007 there was a perception that ads locked into a single social ecosystem would not be successful. Twenty years and trillions in ad spend later, the doubters have been proven wrong. The marketers who fail with Meta ads create poorly targeted campaigns or use ad copy that does not engage. The platform works. Most campaigns don't.

The key to doing well: understand that people do not use Facebook or Instagram as a product-hunting platform. They are not searching for a plumber, an attorney, or a dentist. They are seeing what their friends are doing. They are watching videos. They are scrolling. Aggressive sales copy is ignored. Ads that build rapport, trust, and brand awareness convert. We design for the latter.

The 2026 advantage

AI just rewrote the paid ads playbook.

The teams winning at paid ads in 2026 are not the ones spending the most. They are the ones using AI to generate and test more creative variants in a week than human teams ship in a quarter, to predict which audiences will convert, and to bid smarter than the auction. Here is what that looks like in practice.

01

AI-generated creative at scale

Most agencies ship 2 to 3 ad variants per campaign. We ship 20 to 50 using AI image, video, and copy generation. The algorithm finds the winner faster, so your campaigns scale faster. High-performing creatives keep CPMs around $25 to $40; weaker creatives spike to over $50. Adamigo, 2026

02

Smart bidding outperforms manual

Meta's Advantage+ campaigns and Google's Smart Bidding leverage AI signals across the entire buyer journey. Google Search conversion rate jumped to 4.40% in Q1 2026 (up from 4.17%) directly tied to Smart Bidding expanding to 78% of ad spend. We set up the conversion tracking properly so the algorithm has signal to optimise against.

03

Lookalike + AI-predicted intent

Old playbook: target by demographics. New playbook: feed Meta and TikTok your best customers, let the platforms find more people like them, then layer AI-predicted intent scores. Lookalike campaigns hit 1.80x ROAS median; retargeting hits 3.61x. We run both.

04

Mobile-first or you're burning budget

94 to 98% of Meta traffic comes from mobile. Mobile CTRs outperform desktop by 33% on Instagram and 52% on Facebook. Vertical video ads (Reels, Stories, TikTok in-feed) win the auction. Our creatives ship 9:16 first, square second. Horizontal is dead for social.

05

TikTok is the under-priced channel

TikTok's median CPC is $0.50, 40-50% cheaper than Facebook and 70% cheaper than Instagram. Engagement rates sit at 4.07%, over 4x higher than Instagram. For SA brands, this is the most under-priced traffic available. We use it for top-of-funnel demand generation and let Meta close the deal.

06

View-through attribution catches the hidden conversions

Last-click attribution under-reports social ad impact by 30 to 40%. We set up view-through tracking, post-purchase surveys, and incremental testing so you see the real ROAS, not just the conversions that happened to click last. The numbers tell a much better story when you measure properly.

Targeting + affordability

Reach the exact person you want. For a fraction of what print costs.

The biggest advantage of social ads is targeting. You can specify gender, age, location, interests, behaviours, education, and employment. You can target males under 65 in KwaZulu-Natal who follow specific competitor brands. The targeting options are essentially endless. Targeting is also the number-one reason ads fail when handled badly. The best ad copy and creative cannot save the wrong audience.

A small newspaper ad in South Africa costs between R5,000 and R50,000 for a single run. A Facebook ad starts around R50 per 1,000 impressions. Cheaper, infinitely more targeted, and the audience is paying attention to the screen, not flipping pages they mostly ignore.

Better still, every click and impression is measured. We know exactly which ad, which audience, and which placement produced the lead. We give you monthly reports in plain English so you can see what we're doing and what's working.

What we do

Six disciplines. One outcome: closed deals.

01

Audience research + ICP mapping

Who buys, why, what they fear, what they want. We map your ideal customer to Meta's and TikTok's targeting signals so the algorithm has somewhere to start.

02

Creative production (AI-assisted)

Vertical video first. Hooks tested in seconds. Carousel and static ads built for thumb-stopping power. 20 to 50 variants per campaign, not 2 to 3.

03

Conversion tracking + Pixel setup

Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Tag Manager, server-side Conversions API. We set up the tracking properly so the algorithm has signal to optimise against and you get accurate ROAS reporting.

04

Funnel architecture

Cold awareness, warm engagement, retargeting, conversion, repeat purchase. Each audience gets the right creative at the right stage. No more sending strangers straight to a buy button.

05

Daily optimisation + budget management

Auctions move. We move with them. Daily monitoring, weekly creative refreshes, budget reallocation across audiences and placements based on performance, not hunches.

06

Plain-English monthly reports

Spend, ROAS, cost per closed deal, what worked, what didn't, what we're testing next. No jargon dumps. No vanity metrics. The number that matters, every month.

A real campaign we ran

The video-into-lead funnel that prequalifies for us.

We had a client in a very competitive industry where their ideal audience was hard to identify by demographics alone. So we went sideways. We made a single industry-specific video, 1 minute 30 seconds, no sales pitch. Pure value.

We ran it as a Video View campaign targeted at anyone in South Africa aged 21 to 65. The video was so specific that only someone actually interested in those services would watch it to the end. Then we built a Lead Gen ad and told Meta: only show this to users who watched 95% of the video.

The result: a self-selecting audience that watched almost two minutes of focused content on the exact problem we solved. The lead form converted at multiples of any previous campaign because every lead was already prequalified by their own attention. That is the kind of thinking we bring to every account.

Pricing

Three scopes. Transparent pricing in rand.

Pricing is not one-size-fits-all. Pick the scope that matches your stage. Ad spend is separate (paid directly to Meta, TikTok, Google) and not included. All management fees monthly, in rand.

Social media ads FAQ

The questions we hear most.

01

Do I need a website to run social ads?

No, but it helps. You can run Lead Gen ads on Meta that capture leads directly inside Facebook or Instagram (no website required). Messenger ads work the same way. We recommend a website for serious campaigns because you get more control, better tracking, and full retargeting via the Pixel, but it's not a hard requirement to get started.

02

How much should I spend on ads?

Start with R5,000 to R15,000 per month in ad spend for a single platform. That gives the algorithm enough signal to find your audience and produces enough data to optimise. Below R3,000 per month per platform you're fighting noise. For scaled campaigns, R30,000 to R100,000 per month is typical.

03

How long before I see results?

Meta's algorithm has a learning phase. You'll see early conversions within the first 7 to 14 days. Real optimisation kicks in after 50 conversion events (the learning phase exit threshold). Most campaigns hit profitable ROAS in month two or three, then scale from there. Anyone promising profitable ads in week one is selling you a story.

04

What about the Facebook Pixel and tracking?

The Facebook Pixel is a snippet of code on your site that tracks user behaviour. It lets us retarget visitors, build lookalike audiences from your customers, and tell Meta which page views actually convert. Combined with TikTok Pixel and server-side Conversions API, your tracking setup is the foundation of every profitable campaign. We set it all up properly during onboarding.

05

Should I run on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or all of them?

Start with where your buyers are. For B2C, B2B services, and local businesses: Meta (Facebook + Instagram) is usually highest ROI. For brands targeting under-35 consumers or impulse purchases: TikTok wins on cost. For high-ticket B2B and professional services: LinkedIn. We recommend the platform mix during the audit, not before.

06

How is this different from boosting posts?

Boosting a post is the worst way to spend money on Meta. It gives you no control over audience, no funnel architecture, no creative testing, and no real optimisation. We run campaigns through Ads Manager with proper targeting, AI- generated creative, conversion tracking, and daily optimisation. Same money, completely different result.

Let's see what's
leaking.

One audit covers everything: website, SEO, AI search, paid ads, email, and social. You get an honest readout of what's working, what's wasting budget, and what to fix first. If we're a fit, we'll book a consult. If not, you keep the audit. No obligation.
